From file to your door
I draw the frame and its lead lines on the computer. On the Halloween frames the smallest window is 3.5 mm across, so a squeeze-bottle tip fits.
The frame prints in silk filament on my 3D printer.
It ships empty and carefully packed, with the windows open for your resin.
Fill the windows with your own tinted or glow epoxy. It hardens in 24 to 48 hours.
Hand-poured resin can hold a tiny bubble or two. It's resin, not glass.

Shop the ResinistOrnament frames
Your frame comes empty. Here's how I fill mine with resin.
2-part epoxy, a panel (acrylic, wood or canvas board), pigment paste or mica, glow powder if you want glow, small mixing cups, a syringe or stir stick, and a heat gun. Wear gloves and keep air moving. Resin, panel and colors don't come with the template.
Brush a thin coat of epoxy on your panel. Press the template flat, weight it, and let it set.
Mix your epoxy exactly as its maker says, then split it into small cups, one cup per color you plan to use.
A toothpick tip of pigment paste per 15 ml gives see-through color. For glow, stir in about 1 part glow powder to 4 parts resin.
Fill each cell level with the top of the lines, so the colors never touch. Thin layers: epoxy warms up as it hardens, and the frame softens near 140 °F.
Pass a heat gun over the surface quickly and keep it moving.
Give it 24 to 48 hours to harden, then charge the glow under a lamp and turn off the lights.
The windows are open front to back. Press the frame onto clear packing tape, sticky side up on a flat board, and rub along every line with a fingernail so resin can't creep under. Fill each window level with the flat part of the frame. A small window takes only a few drops. Once it's hard, peel off the tape.
The resin bonds to the template, so each one is a one-time pour. Your card has a color map on it. Use it or don't.
About the maker
I pour resin and 3D-print my own designs.
The 3D printer in my workshop often runs all night long. On the bench: resin cups, pigment, mica and glow powder waiting to become something. I do a lot of my best work late at night. That's also when the glow pieces look best.
I've sold on Etsy for six years: crystal skulls, and real four-leaf clovers sealed in resin. These days I design my own stained-glass frames and 3D-print them. Then I fill every window by hand with tinted or glow-in-the-dark epoxy. No two pieces come out alike.
